CinemaLive increases its broadcast capabilitiess

Leading Australian production company, The Shooting Star Picture Company, is now offering cinemas in Australia and New Zealand an impressive schedule of live events through their exclusive CinemaLive network.

One of Australia’s newest and most innovative production companies CinemaLive are proud to announce that almost 12 months after they launched, their satellite network now reaches over 70 big screen locations throughout Australia and New Zealand, and they also have made affiliations with satellite cinemas worldwide including USA, Canada, UK, Europe, South Africa and soon to include Asia and the Middle East, extending their LIVE available network to thousands of cinema screens around the world.

CinemaLive  are now also using their satellite network for corporate events including conventions, business symposiums, AGM’s, staff training & presentations, product launches and award shows.  CinemaLive provides the production expertise as well as the satellite capacity to shoot corporate events at one location and broadcast simultaneously to single or multiple cinema locations  around Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

CinemaLive can now offer entertainers and corporations access to a national and international satellite network to broadcast their events via secure satellite LIVE to thousands of cinema screens almost anywhere in the world.

When CinemaLive launched their innovative concept with The Wiggles last December, Aussie kids clapped, wiggled and sang along with the famous four as their Christmas concert was beamed absolutely LIVE into 40 Australian cinemas.

On Friday October 16, CinemaLive broadcast Andre Rieu’s Acer Arena Spectacular LIVE to almost 60 locations throughout Australia and The Netherlands, many of which sold out weeks prior to the event.

Who is CinemaLive?

CinemaLive is a newly launched sister company to The Shooting Star Picture Company Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s premier television and entertainment companies.  It was created with the intention of providing LIVE entertainment as-it-happens from metro venues, to multiple regional cinema locations around Australia, New Zealand, and now the world, for audiences that would not have the opportunity to attend the actual live event.

CinemaLive, shoot each event on hi-definition using multiple cameras, whilst simultaneously providing the audience with the ultimate ‘being there’ experience.

Founded by Company Directors, Janelle Mason & Peter Skillman, CinemaLive is a subsidiary of The Shooting Star Picture Company Pty Ltd, a company with impressive entertainment and corporate credentials. Together, Janelle and Peter have over 40 years experience in television production and have equipped their Jones Bay Wharf premises with hi-definition editing, sound recording & mixing, graphic design and animation services, enabling the company total self sufficiency.

It’s only the beginning – as CinemaLive national and international network continues to grow, so do the opportunities.  Watch this space for more exciting announcements soon....
